Make a Baby feet and hand poem/pic for Daddy.....
Since someone said they wrote my poem, I thought I would put my 2nd year's poem that I wrote my husband so they have an additional poem to copy. Did you write this one too? Soon my poem book will be on the shelves at Amazon, so you will have lots of poems to copy.
Make ink prints of baby's hands and feet,
(do this yearly to add to the baby book so kids can visualize how small they once were.)
Daddy and Me:
Look at me while I grow and grow
Watch my smiles as I dance fast and slow.
Cherish every moment as I grow up right.
Show me how to walk in God's love and light.

Footprints poem:
Footprints
"Walk a little slower daddy,"
said a child so small.
"I'm following in your footsteps
and I don't want to fall.
Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they're hard to see;
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.
Someday when I'm all grown up,
You're what I want to be;
Then I will have a little child
Who'll want to follow me.
And I would want to lead just right,
And know that I was true;
So, walk a little slower, Daddy,
For I must follow you."

Handprint Poem:
I miss you when we're not together
I'm growing up so fast
See how big I've gotten
Since you saw me last?
As I grow, I'll change a lot,
The years will fly right by.
You'll wonder how I grew so quick
When and where and why?
So look upon this handprint (these handprints)
That's hanging on your wall.
And memories will come back of me,
When I was very small.

Handprints on the Wall Poem:
Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls.
But every day I'm growing -
I'll be grown some day
And all those tiny handprints
Will surely fade away.
So here's a little handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small.

GRowING BIGger EVERYday Poem:
Children have a certain way
of growing bigger every day,
But these little hands
and this special smile
will stay in our
hearts a long, long while.
Child's Hand Print
Mix 1/2 cup salt, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, and 1/4 cup water in a large bowl; when mixed add 1 cup white flour and knead well.
Form dough into a softball-sized shape and roll out with a rolling pin. Press your child's hand into the clay (with fingers spread).
Bake at 250 degrees F. for several hours. After it's cooled your child can paint her handprint using acrylic paint. Label the handprint with your child's name, age, year the handprint was created, etc. You can also etch into the clay before baking something like "Hands down best Dad", "Handy Dad", etc.
FATHERS DAY SHIRT CAKE
Your child doesn't have to be a baker or tailor to create this Father's Day cake. Start by lining a 9-by-12-inch cardboard shirt box with tissue paper. Bake a cake in a 9-by-12-inch cake pan, remove from the pan, cool and place on waxed paper. Cover with a larger piece of waxed paper and flip the cake over and into the box (the cake bottom should face up). Frost with a pastel-colored icing. Cut a collar and two cuffs out of white paper. The collar is a strip, rolled into a ring and taped, with a small "v" cut out of the center. The cuffs are rectangles with candy cuff links. Add a colorful frosting tie below the point where the collar will be placed. Just before serving, trim away the waxed paper and add the collar and cuffs.
